HFRR upper and lower specimen packs meet the specifications of high-frequency reciprocating rig tests based on ISO 12156-1, ASTM D6079, ASTM D7688 and IP450 diesel test standards.
Methods: ISO 12156-1, ASTM D6079, ASTM D7688, CEC F-06-A-96 and IP450.
HFRR Upper Lower specimens are a single-use ball and disc that conform to all international diesel fuel test standards.
Pack of 100 upper and lower specimens delivered with a certificate of conformity. Additionally, specimens are subjected to roughness analysis and have been tested with low and high reference fluids by an independent laboratory.
Beyond diesel fuel testing, HFRR is also used in applications such as gasoline testing, assessing grease behaviour under boundary conditions, evaluating marine engine lubricants, and studying fretting both in dry conditions and with lubricants present.
The lower specimens are made of AISI E-52100 steel and both the raw materials, as well as the finished product, have been researched by the manufacturer on hardness.
