Nitex® brand nylon bolting cloth. This is the world standard for plankton nets due to its consistency and accurate aperture size and shape. Precision woven from high quality, durable nylon, both warp and weft thread diameters maintain square aperture dimensions. It is “calendared” after weaving run between hot rollers to set the threads. Nitex® of 600 microns or more is stiffer, since larger diameter threads are needed to stabilize aperture size.
